The Lead: The Holy Cross men's swimming and diving team defeated Fairfield in the Hart Center with three Crusaders placing first in multiple events. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Freshman Nathan Kramer placed first in the 1000 free with a finals time of 10:07.36. Kramer also finished first in the 500 free with a time of 4:55.55.
  
  
• Junior Steve Tierney placed first in the 200 free with a time of 1:47.22 and first in the 50 free with a time of 22.38. 
  
  
• Freshman Kaikea Wilinski finished first for the Crusaders in the 100 back with a time of 55:52.
  
  
• In the 100 breast, senior Jake Sbarbaro placed first with a finals time of 1:01.70. Sbarbaro also finished first in the 200 breast with a time of 2:18.31. 
   
• Senior Jimmy Nugent finished first on the boards in the 3m diving with a score of 220:28.
