Women's Cross Country Begins Season At New Hampshire

The Lead: Junior Hannah Jeter finished sixth overall with a time of 18:19.22, as the Crusaders came in third place against New Hampshire and Providence at the dual meet in Durham, N.H., on Saturday morning.

 HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Just behind Jeter was junior Annie Sullivan who finished 10th overall with a time of 18:35.41, followed by senior Caroline Carr who finished 11th overall with a time of 18:43.25. 
  • Rounding off the top five finishers for the Crusaders included senior Rachel Sowinski (15th; 18:54.54) and freshman Allison McArdle (23rd; 19:31.07).

UP NEXT

  • The Crusaders will return to action on Sept. 10 at the Nassaney Invitational hosted by Bryant at 10:30 a.m. in Smithfield, R.I.
