• The Lead: Senior Marisa Cameron finished in first place as an individual, as the Holy Cross women's golf team came in second out of nine schools in the Le Moyne Invitational at the Timber Banks Golf Club in Baldwinsville, N.Y.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Cameron totaled 158 strokes over two rounds, to finish in first place by four strokes over the next best individual.
• Sophomore Maxine Harney also had a strong weekend, placing third with a total of 163 strokes.
• Senior Lydia Deneen and sophomore Maddy Glynn  came in 17th and 32nd, respectively, with scores of 180 and 202.
• St. Lawrence won the team event with a two-round total of 669 strokes, while Holy Cross totaled 703 strokes.

• Holy Cross returns to action weekend, when it competes in the Patriot League Championship from April 23-24 at the Bucknell Golf Club in Lewisburg, Pa.
