The Lead: The Holy Cross women's tennis team defeated Hartford, 6-1, for the Crusaders second straight win.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• After the Hawks won the doubles point by winning two of the three matches, the Crusaders then swept the singles matches for the 6-1 victory.
• Freshman Allison Reiling (Medham, N.J.) won the No.1 singles match, 6-2, 6-4, while senior Cassy Deng (Eden Prairie, Minn.) took the No. 2 singles match, 6-4, 6-4.
• Senior Abby Henry (Wellesley, Mass.) won at No. 3 singles, 6-3, 6-2, while sophomore Katie Elia (Erie, Pa.) tallied a 6-3, 6-1 victory at No. 4 singles.
• Junior Izzy Bagi (Branford, Conn.) won the No. 5 singles match, 7-5, 6-4, and freshman Jennifer Kary (Scarsdale, N.Y.) won the 6 singles match by a 6-0, 6-4 score.
• Reiling and Elia won the No. 2 doubles match, 6-4.
