• The Lead: The Crusaders returned to action at the Patriot League Championship for day two of competition in Annapolis, Md.

  HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Sophomore Maeve Westover (Boston, Mass.) placed 33rd in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 5:12.00, while classmate Colleen Mulhern (Westwood, Mass.) placed 39th at 5:24.85 and sophomore Georgina Tompkins (Providence, R.I.) placed 41st at 5:34.66.
• In the 200 yard IM, sophomore Nina Sparre (Holliston, Mass.) placed 37th overall with a time of 2:12.10.
• Sophomore Katie Conners (Sunfish Lake, Minn.) had the top finish for Holy Cross in the 50 yard freestyle, coming in 25th with a time of 24.69. Junior Gina DeFloria (Greensburg, Pa.) placed 44th with a time of 25.64. Conners' time was just 0.39 short of the Holy Cross record.
• Freshman Casey Sherman (Littleton, Mass.) placed 14th overall in the one meter dive with a finals score of 195.95.
• The squad of freshman Jenny O'Brien (Walpole, Mass.), sophomore Kelley Kraemer (Cincinnati, Ohio), sophomore Maura Mullaney (Livingston, N.J.) and Conners placed 10th in the 400 yard medley relay with a time of 4:03.78.
