THE BASICS:

• The Lead: The Holy Cross men's rowing team competed against fellow EARC opponents Columbia, Dartmouth and MIT on the Charles River on Saturday morning. The varsity eight placed third.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The No. 15 nationally ranked Dartmouth varsity eight won its race with a time of 6:13.00, while No. 19 Columbia was second with a time of 6:14.50. Holy Cross (6:24.60) placed third and MIT (6:25.30) was fourth.
• Dartmouth won the second varsity eight race with a time of 6:34.73, while Columbia (6:36.80) was second and the Crusaders (7:06.95) were third.
• The Big Green also won the third varsity eight race with a time of 6:24.40. Columbia (6:38.70) was second and Holy Cross (6:42.90) was third.
• Dartmouth earned the sweep as its varsity four placed first with a time of 7:35.30. Dartmouth also was second with a time of 7:43.40. The Crusaders (7:51.50) were third, MIT (7:58.50) was fourth and Columbia (8:03.50) was fifth.

• Holy Cross Second Varsity Eight: J.T. Kearney (Coxswain), James Holland, Tiarnan Doherty, Andrew McNamara, Christian Kerrigan, Luke Graham, Keenan Moore, Alex Brandon, Jon Bachmann.
• Holy Cross Third Varsity Eight: Cally Hickey (Coxswain), Casey Norton, Robbie Carter, William McCue, Chris Paul, Joe Nolan, Zack Zaniewski, Will Callif, Kyle Larkin. 
• Holy Cross Varsity Four: Eddie Ryan (Coxswain), Brian Latu, William Weir, Brian Clark, Chris Mudrick.
