• The Lead: The No. 20 nationally ranked men's varsity eight defeated Hobart, Williams and Bucknell as the Holy Cross men's rowing team competed on Lake Quinsigamond on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The No. 20 varsity eight won its race with a time of 5:55.3, while Hobart (5:56.2) was second, Williams (6:08.6) was third and Bucknell (6:15.7) was fourth.
• Hobart won the second varsity eight race with a time of 6:00.3 as the Crusaders (6:08.6) were second, Bucknell (6:11.1) was third and Williams (6:12.7) was fourth.
• The Crusaders won the third varsity eight race with a time of 6:11.2, while Bucknell (6:14.7) was second, Hobart (6:15.8) was third and Williams (6:28.7) was fourth.
• Hobart took the fourth varsity eight race with a time of 6:20.4, while the Crusaders (6:25.7) were second, Williams (6:56.7) was third and the Crusaders' fifth varsity eight (7:03.1) was fourth.
