WORCESTER, Mass. – Sophomore Hannah Jeter has been named the GoHolyCross.com Crusader of the Week, for competition from Nov. 16-22. Jeter led the Holy Cross women's cross country team to a sixth-place finish at the ECAC Championship on Saturday.
During the ECAC Championship meet at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, N.Y., Jeter finished in second place overall as an individual, clocking a time of 18:11.2. She averaged 5:51.2 per mile over the five kilometer course, and was beaten by only Isobel Batt-Doyle of St. John's (18:03.3).
On the season, Jeter ran the fastest time on the team in four of her last five races. She previously finished in ninth place at the Patriot League Championship and 12th place at the New England Championship.
Jeter sat down with GoHolyCross.com's Emily Iannaconi and discussed several topics which included her favorite things about her hometown and what running means to her family.
