• The Lead: Holy Cross freshman Jennifer Kary (Scarsdale, N.Y.) won both her singles and doubles flights, as the Crusaders competed at the Connecticut College Tournament on Sunday afternoon at the South Tennis Courts.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• In flight four doubles action, Kary paired with senior Cassy Deng (Eden Prairie, Minn.) to earn victories over New Paltz (8-3) and Connecticut College (8-2). In her flight eight singles matches, Kary topped New Paltz (8-1) and Connecticut College (8-6).
• Crusader freshman Morgan McGuire (Franklin Lakes, N.J.) won the seventh flight singles matches with wins over Trinity (8-2) and Connecticut College (8-6).
• Freshman Allison Reiling (Mendham, N.J.) and junior Isabela Bagi (Branford, Conn.) lost in the championship of the second and sixth singles flights, respectively.
