HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Crusaders took the only shot on goal of the first half when junior Matt Villano (Basking Ridge, N.J.) fired a shot to the lower left corner of the goal which was just pushed wide by Bucknell goalie Mike Lansing in the third minute.

- Then in the 73rd minute, Bucknell was called for a foul in the box. Sophomore Justin Carfora (Plainview, N.Y.) then sent a shot off a penalty kick to the right side of the net just over the reach of Lansing to tie the contest at 1-1 (72:19).
- Neither team was able to score the game-winner in regulation as the contest went to overtime.
- With less than a minute left in the first overtime period, Sebastiaan Blickman blasted a low shot on net, but senior captain Kevin Wright (McKinney, Texas) made the big save to keep the game tied at 1-1.
- In the 105th minute, Andrew Leischner fired a shot to the upper middle of the net, but Wright was able to knock it over the bar.
- Neither team took another shot on goal for the 1-1 final score.
