HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Barrett got the Crusaders on the board at 18:04 of the second period off a pass from senior Jake Bolton (Ellington, Conn.), who got the puck from sophomore Ryan Ferrill (Havertown, Pa.) off a faceoff win, making it 3-1.
  • Sophomore T.J. Moore (Edina, Minn.) nearly notched another goal for Holy Cross just 20 seconds later, as his shot ricocheted off the post.
