WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's golf team will open its 2014 fall season with the Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 13-14 at the Hanover Country Club in Hanover, N.H. Last season, the Crusaders finished in 11th place at the Dartmouth Invitational.

CAPTAINS ANNOUNCED:

• The Crusaders will be led this season by its co-captains senior Meaghan Sullivan (Brockton, Mass.) and junior Marisa Cameron (Garden City, N.Y.).
• Sullivan ranked fourth on last year's team with an average 18-hole score of 96.6 strokes in seven rounds played. She carded three rounds in the 90s at the Patriot League Championship, including a season-low score of 91 in the second round. Sullivan is also a member of the Holy Cross women's ice hockey team.
• Cameron played in five rounds last season and led the team with an average 18-hole score of 84.0 strokes per round. She carded a career-low round of 78 at the tri-match with Wellesley & Merrimack last season and was the top Holy Cross finisher in four events.

HOLY CROSS ADDS FOUR FRESHMEN TO ROSTER:

• The women's golf team welcomes four freshmen to the 2014-2015 roster. Freshmen Siobhan Fennell (East Haven, Conn.), Maddy Glynn (Pittsford, N.Y.), Maxine Harney (Medford, Mass.) and Lindsay Sullivan (Worcester, Mass.) will all play on the squad this season.
• The Crusaders also return five letterwinners to the team in 2014-2015.
