• The Lead: The Holy Cross men's golf team finished in fourth place out of 12 teams with a two-round combined score of 615 (+55) at the Northeast Challenge on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 4-5 at the Concord Country Club. Le Moyne won the event with a two-day sum of 597 (+37).  

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Holy Cross was led by sophomore Cameron Murray (Traverse City, Mich.), who tied for eighth place with a two-day total of 151 (+11). His score of 74 in the second round of the tournament tied his career-low. Crusader senior captain Craig Norton (Foxboro, Mass.) tied for 14th place with a two-round score of 154 (+14). 
• Senior captains Connor Burfeind (Falmouth, Maine) and John Reali (Searingtown, N.Y.) both tied for 22nd place with cards of 157 (+17). The Crusaders were rounded out by sophomore Connor McGuirk (Lexington, Mass.) who tied for 26th place and a two-day total of 159 (+19).

UP NEXT:

• Holy Cross will conclude its 2014 fall season with the NEIGA Championship on Sunday and Monday, Oct. 26-27 at the Captains Golf Course in Brewster, Mass.
