THE BASICS:

• Regatta: Head of the Charles Regatta
• Date: Saturday & Sunday, Oct. 18-19, 2014
• Location: Boston, Mass. (Charles River)
• The Lead: The Holy Cross men's rowing team competed at the 50th Head of the Charles Regatta. The Crusaders competed in the championship eight, the club eight and the club four competitions.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The varsity eight placed 29th in the championship eight race out of 36 boats with a time of 15:38.247. Craftsbury Sculling Center won with a time 14:20.239.
• The second varsity eight placed 18th in the club eight race out of 47 boats with a time of 15:43.180, while the third varsity eight was 32nd with a time of 16:27.286. Northeastern placed first with a time of 14:35.768.
• The Crusaders placed 23rd in the club four race out of 52 boats with a time of 17:47.237. Union Boat Club won with a time of 16:15.995.

THE LINEUPS:

• Holy Cross Varsity Eight: J.T. Kearney (Coxswain), Vince LaMonte, Jon Bachmann, Sam Poryanda, T.J. Watts, Andrew McNamara, Tiarnan Doherty, John Burke, Ryan Tierney.
• Holy Cross Second Varsity Eight: Christian Brooks (Coxswain), Casey Norton, Robbie Carter, Kevin Casey, William McCue, Joe Nolan, Connor May, Alex Brandon, Kyle Larkin.  
• Holy Cross Third Varsity Eight: Cally Hickey (Coxswain), James Holland, Ted Langlois, Brian Latu, Jack McDonough, Dave Cieremans, John Kane, Brian Clark, Will Callif. 
• Holy Cross Varsity Four: Eddie Ryan (Coxswain), Sean Horan, Keenan Moore, Luke Graham, Chris Mudrick.
