PORTLAND, Maine – Holy Cross junior Kristen Desrosiers (Gorham, Maine) won the 30th Cyrus Hagge YMCA Peaks To Portland Swim on Saturday, July 16, for the second straight year. Desrosiers completed the 2.4-mile open-water swim from Peaks Island to the East End Beach in Portland in a time of 46:59.1, improving on her winning time of 48:03 in 2010. Junior Katelyn Desrosiers (Gorham, Maine) also competed in the swim, finishing in third place.

A total of 279 swimmers took part in this year's event. The men's winner was Scott Yeomans in a time of 43:28. Kristen placed 20th overall and Katelyn was 24th.
