Freshman Sophie Quinones of the Holy Cross women’s golf team has been selected as the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for Sept. 2 – 8. 

Quinones was Holy Cross’s top finisher at the Bucknell Invitational (Sept. 6-8) placing 14th in her collegiate debut. She fired an 80 in the first round and 76 in the second round on the first two days of action. On the final day of play, she had a standout round firing 69 for a 225 (+15) performance. Her final round was the lowest of the day, tied for the lowest of the tournament, and the lowest in Crusader history.

Holy Cross women's golf return to action from Sept. 23 through 24 for the Red Bandanna Invitational hosted by Boston College in Canton, Mass. at the Blue Hill Country Club.
