BURLINGTON, Vt. – The Holy Cross men's soccer team was defeated by No. 11 Vermont 2-0 at Virtue Field. The Crusaders fall to 0-3-1 on the year, while the Catamounts improve to 3-0-1 overall.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Vermont opened the scoring in the seventh minute when Noel Bjork found the net.
• In the 69th minute, Pieter Bultman added a goal to put the Catamounts up 2-0.
• Neither team would score again, as Vermont earned the victory.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
• The Catamounts finished the night with a 12-4 advantage in shots and an 8-4 edge in corner kicks.

Mateo Buyu made two saves for the Crusaders.
