• Played for head coach Fred Kaiser at John Paul II High School in Plano, Texas
• Team captain during his junior and senior years
• A two-time first team All-State and Academic All-State selection
• Earned District MVP honors as a senior, while being named first team All-District three times
• Led team to three District Championships and four straight playoff appearances
• Totaled 56 goals and 60 assists in his high school career, including a school-record 32 assists as a junior
• Also lettered in football
