WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross volleyball team has been awarded the 2026 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award the organization announced this week.

The award, which has been given out since the 1992-93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a yearlong grade-point average of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale. The award factors in the GPA of all players that played at least one set during the 2025 season.

As a team, the Crusaders averaged a 3.43 GPA during the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters.

This is sixth time in program history that the Crusaders have earned the accolade.
