Following a fourth-quarter comeback victory over Dartmouth in its home opener on Thursday night, the Holy Cross women's basketball team is off to its best start to a season in over a decade. The Crusaders are excited to announce their promotional schedule for the remainder of the 2026-27 non-conference home season, highlighted by Academic Recognition Night against Harvard on Nov. 9, a trio of special promotions against Bryant on Nov. 16 and the annual Holiday Game against Western Kentucky on Dec. 16.

Monday, Nov. 9 | 5pm | vs Harvard

Academic Recognition Night

Holy Cross will celebrate the academic accomplishments of our student-athletes during the Spring 2026 semester. All 27 teams achieved a team GPA above 3.0 for the fourth straight semester, and the department had its highest GPA on record, with a 3.45.

Sixty-three student-athletes finished the semester with a perfect 4.0 GPA. In total, 384 student-athletes recorded a 3.5 or better, with 572 athletes posting above a 3.0.

A total of 15 teams averaged a 3.5 GPA or better. Women's basketball had the best team GPA of any program last semester, with a 3.74; men's soccer had the highest GPA for a men's team at 3.64.

Our recognition for student-athlete on the spring 2026 Dean's List will take place during halftime.

Additionally, Worcester-area college students can take advantage of $5 tickets by presenting a valid college ID at the game.

Monday, Nov. 16 | 6pm | vs Bryant

Morgan's Message | Pride Game | Canned Food Drive

The Crusaders will host three special promotions during their matchup against Bryant.

Fans are encouraged to bring a canned good to receive a free ticket to the game. Holy Cross students who scan their tickets upon entry will also be entered into a raffle to win a prize.

The night will also serve as our Morgan's Message game, an initiative dedicated to raising awareness about mental health and reducing stigma within the student-athlete community.

Morgan’s Message® is a 501(c)(3) that strives to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health within the student-athlete community and equalize the treatment of physical and mental health in athletics, aiming to expand the dialogue on mental health by normalizing conversations, empowering those who suffer in silence, and supporting those who feel alone.

Additionally, Holy Cross will also host its annual Pride Game in conjunction with Outfront, celebrating inclusion and support for the LGBTQ+ community.

Outfront seeks to cultivate a vibrant social and academic community of LGBTQ+ faculty and staff, students, alumni, and their allies at the College of the Holy Cross. This collection brings together promotional material created for events sponsored by Outfront.
