MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - The Holy Cross men's ice hockey team was shut out by Robert Morris, 1-0, on Saturday night at Clearview Arena.

With the win, Robert Morris improves to 7-15-2 (7-8-1 AHA), while Holy Cross moves to 11-11-2 (9-5-2 AHA) with the loss.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Neither team was able to find the back of the net in the opening 20 minutes, which saw Holy Cross out shoot Robert Morris, 12-9.
• The Colonials netted the lone goal of the matchup 7:09 into the second period.
• Holy Cross dominated the third period, outshooting Robert Morris 12-1, but were unable to get past the Colonials netminder.

BEYOND THE BOX:

• Senior goaltender Louden Hogg recorded 21 saves in net.

• Holy Cross will return to Worcester to face Army at the Hart Center Rink on Thursday, Jan. 30 and Friday, Jan. 31. Both games are scheduled for 7 p.m. and will stream live on FloHockey.
