WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross senior goaltender
Brooke Loranger has been named the Hockey East Player of the Week, for competition from September 22-28.
During Saturday's 3-0 win over Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Loranger posted a shutout victory for the Crusaders. She tallied 22 saves on the evening.
Over the course of her collegiate career, Loranger owns a 2.73 goals against average with 909 saves and two shutouts.
Holy Cross (2-0 overall) returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 4, when it travels to Delaware for a 2 p.m. game.
