BROOKLINE, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's soccer team traveled to Northeastern for an afternoon competition at Parsons Field. Another hard fought battle ended with a 1-1 tie between the two teams, the first draw since 2002 (1-1, 2OT).
IN GOAL:
- Holy Cross: Aubrey Haesche (T, 0-1-1), six saves
- Northeastern: Eliza Teplow (T, 0-0-1), two saves
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- With only two minutes left in the first half, sophomore midfielder Keilly Quezada netted her first collegiate goal at 43:00 to give Holy Cross the 1-0 lead. Senior forward Riley Grable was credited with the assist.
- Each team had five shots a piece while the Crusaders led the Huskies 5-3 in corners through 45 minutes.
- Northeastern fired back to kick off the second half with a Claire Murray goal at 47:28 to tie the game 1-1.
- Northeastern led Holy Cross 13-10 in shots, 8-3 in shots on goal while the Crusaders owned the 13-5 advantage in corners to conclude the game.

- The Crusaders (0-1-1) continue on the road, heading to Siena (1-1) on Thursday, Aug. 21, for a 5:00 pm kickoff at Hickey Field in Loudonville, N.Y.
