Matt Shatsky named AHCA/Krampade All-American Scholar

WORCESTER, Mass. - Recent graduate Matt Shatsky of the Holy Cross men's ice hockey team has been named a Krampade All-American Scholar, as announced by the AHCA.

Shatsky, a biology major and four-time Atlantic Hockey All-Academic Team selection, Shatsky has three-times earned the team's Academic Achievement Award after leading the team in GPA for three-straight seasons. Earning the team's Dr. James M. Stewart Memorial Award this season, Shatsky finished his senior campaign with nine points and 34 blocked shots.

To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 grade-point average during the fall and spring semester and participated in at least 40 percent of their team's games. A total of 360 Division I men and 349 women were recognized by the AHCA.
