WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior
Isabela Miller totaled six points on four goals and two assists, but lead the Holy Cross women's lacrosse team was defeated by Lehigh 12-10 at Kuzniewski Field. The Crusaders fall to 8-5 on the season and 4-2 in the Patriot League, while the Mountain Hawks improve to 5-7 overall and 2-4 in the conference.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The game was close throughout the two quarters, with Lehigh taking a 6-5 halftime lead after scoring with just 0:38 left before the break.
• The Mountain Hawks held onto a small lead throughout the third quarter, and eventually extended the margin to three (10-7) with 13:18 remaining in the fourth.
• Holy Cross would trim the deficit to two on three occasions down the stretch, but would get no closer as Lehigh held on for the win.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
• Junior
Racheli Levy-Smith tied her career high with 16 draw controls on the afternoon.
• Junior
Mackenzie Creagh made 12 saves in net.
• Senior
Ella Kittredge finished with two goals, six ground balls and five caused turnovers.
• The Mountain Hawks were led by Gracie Shoup with six goals.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• Levy-Smith broke the school single-season record for draw controls during the first quarter. She now has 124 draw controls on the year.
SENIOR DAY:
• Following the contest, eight senior members of the Holy Cross women's lacrosse program who will be graduating next month were honored in a pregame ceremony.

Sally Zinsner were all recognized.
