BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The Holy Cross men's tennis team dropped a pair of matches to Bucknell and Lehigh at the Lewis Indoor Tennis Center, by identical scores of 4-0. The Crusaders fall to 7-10 on the season and 3-5 in the Patriot League. The Bison now stand 16-6 overall and 6-1 in the conference, while the Mountain Hawks move to 12-9 on the year and 6-2 in the league.
BUCKNELL RECAP:
• Bucknell began the day wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots to claim the doubles point.
• The Bison then won the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 4 singles matches to claim the overall victory.
• Sophomore
Teddy Callery was leading his match at No. 3 singles 6-4, 5-5 against Liam Kilmer, before play was stopped after the overall outcome had been determined.
LEHIGH RECAP:
• At No. 3 doubles, Callery and sophomore
Matt Carlson downed Ofer Hacohen and Jackson Morash 6-3.
• But Lehigh claimed the No. 2 and No. 3 matches to take the doubles point.
• The Mountain Hawks also posted wins at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 4 singles to wrap up the overall victory.
