Camilo Illanes won his singles match, but the Holy Cross men's tennis team was defeated by Brown 6-1 at the Pizzitola Sports Center. The Crusaders fall to 1-5 on the season, while the Bears improve to 14-5 overall.
DOUBLES ACTION:
• Brown began the day by sweeping all three positions to claim the doubles point.
SINGLES PLAY:
• At the No. 6 spot, Illanes downed Brian Chong 3-6, 6-1, (10-6).
• But the Bears won the remaining five singles matches to claim the overall victory.
NEXT UP:
• Holy Cross returns to action on Thursday, March 13, when it plays host to Assumption at 3 p.m.
