Teddy Callery won his singles match, but the Holy Cross men's tennis team was defeated by Marist 6-1 at the Fore Court Racquet & Fitness Club. The Crusaders fall to 1-4 on the season, while the Red Foxes improve to 4-3 overall.
DOUBLES ACTION:
• Marist began the day by sweeping all three positions to claim the doubles point.
SINGLES PLAY:
• At the No. 2 spot, Callery downed Gregor Heinemann 7-6, 6-3.
• But the Red Foxes won the remaining five singles matches to claim the overall victory.
NEXT UP:
• Holy Cross returns to action on Sunday, March 9, when it travels to Brown.
