WEST POINT, N.Y. — The Holy Cross men's tennis team was defeated by Army 4-0 at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center. The Crusaders fall to 4-7 on the season, while the Black Knights improve to 9-4 overall.
DOUBLES ACTION:
• Army began the day wins at No. 1 and No. 2 spots to claim the doubles point.
SINGLES PLAY:
• The Black Knights then picked up victories at No. 1, No. 4 and No. 6 singles to claim the overall win.
• Sophomore
Teddy Callery and sophomore
Matt Carlson both won the first set and were leading in their matches, before play was stopped once the overall outcome had been determined.
NEXT UP:
• Holy Cross returns to action on Saturday, March 29, when it plays host to Boston University at 11 a.m.
