Lucas Bikkesbakker all won their singles matches, as the Holy Cross men's tennis team posted a 4-1 victory over Lafayette at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center. The Crusaders improve to 4-6 on the season with the win, while the Leopards fall to 4-9 overall.
DOUBLES ACTION:
• At No. 3 doubles, junior
Alessandro Bizzarri and senior
Jeremy Clark downed Derrin Lerner and Tyler Mahaffey 6-3.
• But Lafayette earned wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots to claim the doubles point.
SINGLES PLAY:
• Holy Cross came back with four singles wins to claim the overall victory.
• Callery downed Lerner 6-4, 6-3 at the No. 3 spot.
• Illanes posted a 6-2, 7-6 (9-7) win over Jake Magnusson at No. 4.
• Ling defeated Owen Studdiford 6-4, 6-2 at No. 5
• Bikkesbakker topped Aidan Mahaffey 6-4, 6-1 at No. 6.
