- In the home half of the second, a two RBI single up the middle plated a pair for the 5-1 edge. Some two out hitting, tacked on another run as they led 6-1.
- Holy Cross loaded the bases in the third and King unloaded them driving an opposite field triple putting his team down 6-4. A sacrifice fly put another run on the Holy Cross ledger.
- In the fourth, three straight hits, including a two RBI double upped the margin to 8-4. They loaded the bases and plated another run off a sacrifice fly. Three more runs came across as the Bearcats led 12-5.
- A grand slam in the sixth for Binghamton increased their score to 16-5.
