Holy Cross downed by Lehigh

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Junior forward Jaiden Feroah totaled 12 points, nine rebounds, four assists and three blocks, but the Holy Cross men's basketball team was defeated by Lehigh 72-60 at Stabler Arena. The Crusaders fall to 12-15 on the year and 4-10 in the Patriot League, while the Mountain Hawks improve to 10-15 overall and 5-9 in the conference.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
• Holy Cross made just 42.0 percent of its field goal attempts and 57.1 percent of its free throws on the day, while committing 14 turnovers.
• Lehigh was able to connect on 46.7 percent of its shots from the floor and 43.8 percent of its three-pointers.
• Sophomore guard Kahlil Singleton finished the game with a team-high 13 points.
• Freshman guard Aidan Richard added 12 points and three rebounds, while freshman guard Max Green scored 10 points.
• The Mountain Hawks were led by Tyler Whitney-Sidney with 18 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Crusaders opened the game by jumping out to an early 7-2 lead. 
• Lehigh came back to tie up the game at 11-11, and neither team would lead by more than three points for the rest of the half.
• The Mountain Hawks eventually held a 26-25 advantage heading into the locker room.
• Holy Cross pulled back in front by one (32-31) early in the second half, before Lehigh used an 11-2 run to go up by eight (42-34).
• The Mountain Hawk lead grew as large as 18 (55-37) with 8:43 left, when the Crusaders used a 14-1 spurt to make it a five-point game (56-51).
• But that was as close as Holy Cross would get, as Lehigh held on down the stretch to win by 12.
