WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's ice hockey team was defeated by Boston University 3-0 at the Hart Center at the Luth Athletic Complex. The Crusaders fall to 12-6-1 on the season and 4-5-1 in Hockey East, while the Terriers improve to 4-10-1 overall and 4-5-1 in the conference.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Boston University opened the scoring midway through the first period on a goal by Luisa Weicke.
• In the second period, Lilli Weicke scored to put the Terriers up 2-0.
• Mia Vergilii added a third period goal to make the final score 3-0.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
• Holy Cross finished the night with a 19-17 advantage in shots on goal.

Abby Hornung made 14 saves on the night.
NEXT UP:
• The Crusaders return to action on Friday, Dec. 5, when they travel to Vermont for a 2 p.m. game.
