WORCESTER, Mass. – Freshman setter/right side KK Green and freshman defensive specialist Elizabeth Hall have been voted the Patriot League Rookie and Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference office Tuesday following a vote by the leagues head coaches.
 
Hall becomes the first Crusader to earn Defensive Player of the Week Honors since Katie Lynch on Oct. 23, 2000. Green is the second Rookie of the Week honoree this season for Holy Cross.

Green started and played in both matches for the Crusaders this week, leading the team to a 1-1 record. The newcomer paced the team with 29 kills and a 3.22 kills per set mark, hitting .267 with 13 digs (1.44 D/S), four total blocks (0.44 BLK/S), two aces and two assists. She tied for third in the conference in kills (29), tied for third in total points (33.0), while ranking tied for seventh in kills per set (3.22) and eighth in points per set (3.67) for the week ending Nov. 2.

In the 5-setter against Navy (Oct. 31), Green recorded 10 kills, seven digs, two blocks, and a pair of aces. During the 3-1 win over Loyola (Md.) (Nov. 1), hit .318 with a career-high 19 kills, posting six digs, two blocks and an assist. 

Green has 11 double-digit kill performances this season and ranks third on the team in kills (218), kills per set (2.08) and fifth in total blocks (31.0).

Hall was the starting libero this past weekend for Holy Cross. She led the squad with 42 digs and 4.67 digs per set to go with 12 assists (1.33 A/S). In the Patriot League, she was second in digs (42) and third in digs per set (4.67) for the week ending Nov. 2.

The freshman had a team-high 18 digs with a career-high matching seven assists in the 5-setter against Navy (Oct. 31). Hall then manufactured a new personal-best with a match-high 24 digs with five assists in the 3-1 win over Loyola (Md.) (Nov 1). 

She has double-digit digs nine times this season and nine times over the last 10 matches recording 15+ digs six times over the course of 2025. Hall is the team leader in digs per set (2.45) and ranks fifth in digs (162).

The Crusaders (8-12, 2-11 PL) have a pivotal weekend of Patriot League play upcoming as they travel to Bucknell (9-13, 6-7 PL) on Friday, Nov. 7 at 6 p.m.
