WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross men's basketball head coach Dave Paulsen has announced that Tristen Wilson from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel High School in Baltimore, Md., will join the Crusaders in the fall of 2026.

"We're thrilled to welcome Tristen to our Holy Cross basketball Family," Paulsen said. "Tristen has all of the characteristics and intangibles that we value in our program and impacts winning on a daily basis.  He has helped lead his Mount Carmel team to its first Baltimore City Championship, and he helped lead his Team Thrill team to the championship game of the Under Armour Grass Roots Circuit.  He has played for Coach Tony Martin, an icon in the Baltimore coaching community, and has developed and thrived within the Team Thrill program. Tyler Boston is a product of the Team Thrill program, so we know that Tristen will come to Holy Cross with a tough-minded competitive approach that should translate to success."

Wilson, a 6-3 175-pound guard, will arrive in Worcester following a 34-4 record for Our Lady of Mt. Carmel High School in 2024-25, helping lead his team to the regular-season and tournament championship. Going into 2025-26, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel is ranked 23rd in the BALLISLIFE.com Preseason Fab 50. An All-League BCL Player last season, Wilson averaged 13.0 points, 5.0 rebound and 3.5 steals per game. Also competing for Team Thrill, Wilson's squad reached the championship game of the Under Armour Grass Roots Circuit. In the classroom, Wilson has a 4.0 GPA.

"Tristen is a dynamic guard who can score at all three levels and defend multiple positions on the floor," said Paulsen. "He fits in seamlessly with our current personnel and offensive and defensive philosophies."

Holy Cross (0-3) is currently in its third season under Paulsen and will take on Hampton (1-2) on Sunday, Nov. 16, at the Brown Bears Invitational in Providence, R.I., with tip-off slated for 1 p.m. Season and single-game tickets for Holy Cross men's basketball are on sale through the Holy Cross Ticket Office.
