WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross softball head coach Jon Ladino has announced the team captains for the upcoming 2026 season.
Senior Ali Sniegocki will serve as a captain for the second straight year, while senior Sophia Roncone and junior Caroline Higgins will step up to the plate for the first time.
"We are beyond excited to announce our captains for the 2025-2026 season. It was clear through our team process that Ali, Caroline and Sophia are highly respected by the team and seen as the right student-athletes to lead our program this year," Ladino said. "Ali demonstrated strong leadership last year, especially on the field and will be returning as a two-year captain. Caroline shows a tremendous work ethic and commitment to Holy Cross Softball, on and off the field and Sophia provides a steady and calming presence for herself and her teammates. Together, I believe these three are the right mix to lead our current student-athletes."
