The Holy Cross women's ice hockey team will be back in action with a home-and-home series against No. 8 Connecticut on Nov. 1 and 2. Saturday's game will take place in Storrs at 1 p.m., while Sunday's meeting will be played in Worcester at 2:00 p.m. Both games will be shown on ESPN+.
Holy Cross is off to a 7-2-0 start on the season. The Crusaders have defeated Dartmouth, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Post twice, while splitting a series with Delaware and falling to Boston College. Holy Cross' seven victories this year are the most in program history prior to the start of November. Freshman forward
Violet Carroll currently leads the team in scoring with 10 points on three goals and seven assists, while senior forward
Alexia Moreau (four goals, three assists) and freshman forward
Naemi Herzig (three goals, four assists) both have seven points. Senior goaltender

Brooke Loranger have split time in net, combing for an 1.22 goals against average and a .930 save percentage.
UConn stands 5-2-1 on the season and will be playing its Hockey East opener. The Huskies have gone 4-0-1 over their last five games, including a 4-3 victory at Mercyhurst on Oct. 25. Senior forward Kyla Josifovic leads the team in scoring with four goals and four assists for eight points, while senior forward Brooke Campbell has added six points on two goals and four assists. In net, senior goaltender Tia Chan stands 5-2-1 with a 1.49 goals against average and a .956 save percentage.
After the series with UConn, Holy Cross will play a home-and-home series with Merrimack on Nov. 7 and 8.
