WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Holy Cross women's soccer team traveled to American for the final road game of the regular season at Reeves Stadium. After a hard-fought 90 minutes, the Crusaders tied 0-0 with the Eagles.
IN GOAL:
- Holy Cross: Aubrey Haesche (T, 5-5-5), two saves
- American: Addison Roemer (T, 2-8-4), three saves
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Neither team scored in the first half.
- The Crusaders led the Eagles 6-1 in shots and 7-1 in corners through 45 minutes.
- Neither team scored in the second half.
- Holy Cross led American 12-5 in shots, 3-2 in shots on goal and 11-2 in corners to conclude the game.
UP NEXT:
- The Crusaders (5-7-5, 2-3-3) return home to host Army (11-4-2, 5-2-1) on Wednesday, Oct. 29, for a 6:00 pm regular season finale and their Cousy Cup/Faculty and Staff Appreciation game at Linda Johnson Smith Soccer Stadium in Worcester, Mass.
