WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's soccer team hosted Lehigh on Sunday afternoon for Senior Day. An early second-half goal by the Mountain Hawks lifted them to the 1-0 victory over the Crusaders.

IN GOAL:

• Holy Cross: Aubrey Haesche (L, 5-5-4), three saves
• Lehigh: R'Reeyah Mabry-Francis (W, 3-5-3), three saves

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Neither team scored in the first half.
• The Crusaders led the Mountain Hawks 9-4 in shots and 1-0 in corners through 45 minutes.
• Early in the second half, Lehigh's Abby-Lee Sanogo scored off a corner at 49:55 for the 1-0 lead.
• Holy Cross led Lehigh 23-9 in shots and 3-1 in corners while the Mountain Hawks had the 4-3 advantage in shots on goal to conclude the game.
• Prior to kickoff, senior forward Riley Grable and senior midfielder Olivia Perez were honored in a Senior Day celebration.

UP NEXT:

• The Crusaders (5-7-4, 2-3-2) will travel to American (2-10-3, 2-5-0) on Saturday, Oct. 25, for a 1:00 pm kickoff at Maryland SoccerPlex in Boyds, Md.
