WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross volleyball junior right side
Gracie Reisman has been named the Patriot League Player of the Week as announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.
Reisman becomes the seventh different Crusader to be named Patriot League Player of the Week and the first since Clare Honan's selection on March 29, 2021.
Reisman was named to the Skyhawk Invitational All-Tournament Team after posting a team-high 43 kills (3.07 K/S) off 82 total attacks for a .451 hitting percentage over three games. She paced the Patriot League in hitting percentage (.451), was second in kills (43) and third in total attacks (82) on opening weekend.
She had 10 kills on .588 hitting with two digs in the season opening win against Siena (8/30). The upperclassman then established a new career-high with 18 kills while hitting .469 with three blocks for 19.5 points versus Stonehill (8/31). Finally, Reisman recorded 15 kills tallying a .364 hitting percentage (off a career-high 33 total attacks) with two digs and 15.5 total points against Purdue Fort Wayne (8/31).
The Crusaders (1-2) return to the court this weekend for the UTSA Invitational. Holy Cross will face Texas-San Antonio (1-2) on Friday, Sept. 6 at 11 a.m. EST and Incarnate Word (2-1) at 5 p.m. EST before closing the tournament on Saturday, Sept. 7 versus Abilene Christian (1-2) at noon EST.
