LEWISBURG, Pa. – Senior goalkeeper
Josh Tubbs posted a shutout with three saves, as the Holy Cross men's soccer team played Bucknell to a 0-0 tie at Emmitt Field. The Crusaders move to 2-3-3 overall and 1-0-1 in the Patriot League, while the Bison now stand 3-3-1 on the year and 1-0-1 in the conference.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Tubbs made two of his saves in the second half, as the Holy Cross defense was able to hold Bucknell at bay throughout the day.
• The Crusaders had several good scoring chances, but were unable to find the net.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
• Tubbs' shutout was the fourth of his collegiate career.
• The Bison finished the game with a 10-9 advantage in shots and a 4-3 edge in corner kicks.
NEXT UP:
• Holy Cross returns to action on Tuesday, Sept. 24, when it travels to Bryant for a 6 p.m. game.
