No. 22 men's rowing competes at the Eastern Sprints

WORCESTER, Mass. - The no. 22 Holy Cross men's rowing team competed at the Eastern Sprints on Lake Quinsigamond on Sunday.

HEAT RESULTS:
  • The no. 22 varsity eight placed fifth in their heat with a time of 5:47.125.
  • The no. 20 second varsity eight placed fifth in their heat with a time of 5:56.769.
  • The no. 17 third varsity eight placed sixth in their heat with a time of 6:04.369.
  • The fourth varsity eight placed sixth in their heat with a time of 6:24.930.
FINALS RESULTS:
  • The varsity eight finished third in the third final with a time of 5:48.141, just two seconds behind no. 15 Wisconsin.
  • The no. 20 second varsity eight placed third in the third final with a time of 5:54.784, just two seconds behind no. 18 Wisconsin.
  • The no. 17 third varsity eight placed second in the third final with a time of 6:02.790, just .5 seconds behind no. 16 Georgetown.
  • The fourth varsity eight placed second in the third final with a time of 6:23.112.

WHAT'S NEXT:
  • Men's rowing will travel to the IRA National Championship in West Windsor, N.J. on May 31 – June 2.
