ROSLYN, N.Y. — The Holy Cross men's golf team finished in fifth place at the Shark Invitational hosted by LIU from Monday, April 15 through Tuesday April 16. The men competed against 10 other teams at the Engineers Country Club.
Junior Nolan Schuermann paced all Crusaders firing a 74 and 73 on the first day of two rounds. On the final day of play he shot a 77 for a 224 (+11) performance which gave him a share of 13th place.
After three rounds of the 72-hole course, the Crusaders finished with a score of 911 (+59) as a team.
COACH'S CORNER:
"Two solid rounds by the team on Monday and a rough final round today pretty much sums it up," said director of golf Steve Napoli. "We are looking forward to next week."
