WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior 
Lauren Drillock and junior 
Isabela Miller both recorded eight points, as the Holy Cross women's lacrosse team posted a 19-6 victory over Iona at Kuzniewski Field. The Crusaders improve to 4-2 on the season with the win, while the Gaels fall to 3-2 overall.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
• Drillock finished the day with two goals and a career-best six assists, while Miller tallied four goals and four assists.
• Junior 
Sally Zinsner totaled six points on a game-high five goals and one assist, and junior 
Ella Kittredge added four points on three goals and one assist.
• Senior 
Tori Cini made eight saves on the day, while allowing just six goals.
• Emily Stewart and Laine Walterson led Iona with two goals each.
• Holy Cross finished the game with a 37-22 advantage in shots and a 15-11 edge in draw controls.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The score was tied at 4-4 early on, before the Crusaders scored four goals in the final minute of the first quarter to go up 8-4.
• Holy Cross then outscored the Gaels 4-0 in the second quarter, and scored the first five goals of the third quarter to close out a 13-0 run.
• The Crusaders would lead by at least 11 goals the rest of the way to claim the victory.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• Drillock's six assists tied the Holy Cross single-game record, matching the marks of Erin Rowse (vs. Albany on March 21, 2000) and Meg O'Leary (against Lehigh on April 4, 2009).
• The Crusaders had 15 total assists as a team, the most in program history.
UP NEXT:
• Holy Cross will return to action on Saturday, March 9, when it travels to Colgate for its Patriot League opener at 12 p.m.
