EASTON, Mass. – Junior
Ella Kittredge tied her career high with five goals scored, as the Holy Cross women's lacrosse team posted a 19-10 victory over Stonehill at W.B. Mason Stadium. The Crusaders improve to 7-2 overall with the win, while the Skyhawks fall to 3-4 on the season.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
• Junior
Isabela Miller totaled a career-high nine points on three goals and six assists, while junior
Sally Zinsner added seven points on four goals and three assists .
• Senior
Lauren Drillock also had a strong night with four goals and one assist.
• Stonehill was led by Molly Mae Hughes with three goals and three assists.
• Holy Cross finished the game with a 36-24 advantage in shots and an 18-16 edge in draw controls.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Crusaders started the game hot, scoring seven unanswered goals in the first quarter to take a 7-0 lead.
• Holy Cross increased its advantage to nine (10-1) early in the second quarter, before eventually taking an 11-3 edge into halftime.
• The Skyhawks were able to trim the margin to six (13-7) midway through the third quarter, but the Crusaders scored the next three goals to regain control and went on to win by nine (19-10).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• Miller's six assists tied the Holy Cross single-game record, matching the marks of Erin Rowse (vs. Albany on March 21, 2000), Meg O'Leary (against Lehigh on April 4, 2009) and Drillock (vs. Iona on March 5, 2024).
• Holy Cross has now won six straight games, good for its longest winning streak since posting six straight victories from April 29, 2000-March 7, 2001.

• The Crusaders will return to action on Saturday, March 23, when they play host to Bucknell at 1 p.m.
