ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team is in eighth place after the opening day of the 2024 Patriot League Championship hosted by Navy at Lejeune Hall.
Holy Cross recorded 97 points during day one. Boston University (214), Navy (203) and Bucknell (169) round out the top three.
In the pool, the 200-yard medley relay team consisting of junior
Caroline Mahoney, senior
Greta Walting, sophomore
Sabrina Conrad, and freshman
Devin Brindle finished the event in 1:45.21 earning 40 points to the team total.
Senior
Ayden Chanin, junior
Emmy Mazzacano, freshman
Courtney Boghosian and sophomore
Ainsley Nalen finished eighth in the 800-yard freestyle relay (7:38.33) earning 44 points to the team total.
Holy Cross will be back in action tomorrow for day two of the conference championship.
