WORCESTER, Mass. – Junior forward Caleb Kenney totaled a career-high 25 points and 11 rebounds as the Holy Cross men's basketball team defeated Bucknell 73-59 at the Hart Center at the Luth Athletic Complex. The Crusaders improve to 9-19 overall and 6-9 in the Patriot League with the win, while the Bison fall to 10-18 on the season and 7-8 in the conference.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Bucknell started the game hot, jumping out to a 14-point lead (29-15) after the first 13 minutes of play. 
• The Bison were still up by 14 (35-21) with five minutes left in the half, when Holy Cross scored 10 straight points to trim the margin to four (35-31) heading into the locker room.
• Bucknell maintained a small lead early in the second half, and was up 46-42 with 15:28 remaining in regulation.
• The Crusaders then went on an 11-0 run to pull in front, taking the lead for good on a three-pointer by sophomore guard Will Batchelder with 14:06 left.
• A few minutes later, Holy Cross used a 13-2 spurt to extend its advantage to 15 points (66-51) with 6:31 on the clock. 
• The Crusaders would lead by at least 10 points the rest of way, cruising to a 14-point win.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
• Holy Cross connected on 50.0 percent of its field goal attempts on the night, including 61.5 percent in the second half.
• The Crusaders also held the Bison to 39.6 percent shooting from the floor and held a 37-27 rebounding advantage.
• Senior guard Bo Montgomery posted his second career double-double with career highs of 23 points and 12 rebounds, in addition to tying his career best of seven assists.
• Batchelder added 15 points and two assists.
• Bucknell was led by Jack Forrest with 16 points.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• The win marked the 500th career on-court victory for Holy Cross head coach Dave Paulsen.
• The Crusaders had two players post double-doubles in the same game for the first time in over two years, while having two 20-point scorers for the third time this season.
