  • Holy Cross scoreless stretch carried into the second quarter as Army led 19-12 with 6:09 to go in the half. Senior Janelle Allen broke the scoring drought with an easy layup making it 23-14 Army. Holy Cross only put in four points over the final 10:18 of the half to trail 28-16 at the break.
  • Behind by 20, 42-22 with 4:38 left in the stanza, the Crusaders went on an 11-2 burst getting a pair of McCormack three-balls with a Power-Cassidy triple and slash through the lane to make it 44-33 at the 1:31 mark. Army responded with a timeout and scored the final five points of the quarter to lead 49-33.
