KINGSTON, R.I. – Sophomore diver
Luke Parada established a new pool and program record as the Holy Cross men's swimming and diving team took part in the second day of the Harold Anderson Invitational hosted by Rhode Island.
The Crusaders (316.5) climbed to first place jumping Providence (311) and Maine (258). Wagner (303.5) moved to third leapfrogging Maine.
Parada totaled a 345.20 score on the three-meter board easily besting the program record (325.58) and the Tootell Aquatic Center record (321.05). Teammate, freshman
Griffin Casey finished in second at 317.30.
Junior
Jack Greiner hit the wall first in the 500-yard freestyle at 4:29.27. Sophomore
Austin Cutcher placed third at 4:37.88 adding to the Crusader point total.
Sophomore
Will Clark earned a podium finish, third place in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 21.01.
Eight student-athletes competed in the "A" finals for Holy Cross on Friday while 22 participated in the finals overall.
Holy Cross looks to add to their point total on Saturday, Nov. 23.
