Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Crusaders fall at Lafayette

EASTON, Pa. – The Holy Cross men's soccer team was defeated by Lafayette 2-0 at Mike Bourger Field at Oaks Stadium. The Crusaders fall to 2-8-3 on the season and 1-3-1 in the Patriot League, while the Leopards improve to 5-4-3 overall and 2-2-1 in the conference.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Lafayette opened the scoring in the 25th minute, when Lawrence Aydlett converted on a penalty kick.
• The score remained at 1-0 until the 75th minute, when Cade Maglione netted an unassisted goal for the Leopards to put the game away.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
• The Crusaders finished the game with a 7-6 advantage in shots and an 8-1 edge in corner kicks.
• Senior goalkeeper Tristan Stephani made three saves on the night.

NEXT UP:
• Holy Cross returns to action on Tuesday, Oct. 15, when it heads to UMass for a 3 p.m. game.
